This attachment sharpens knives & tools using a combination of flexible abrasive belts and a precision sharpening guide. This creates the sharpest blades you’ve ever had with speed, ease and repeatability. The sharpening guide is adjustable from 10° to 35° and accommodates kitchen knives, outdoor knives (hunting knives, pocket knives, filet knives, etc.) as well as scissors and serrated knives.
This sharpening system can be used without the sharpening guide for a wide array of freehand sharpening and honing tasks on many woodworking cutting tools such as marking knives and carving tools.

- P220 Medium Grit Belt (1 piece) and
- 6000 Grit Honing Belt(1 piece)

The Review
This device attaches easily to the W3000. Pretty impressive engineering. We like the system with the different belts but we are not sure it’s much better than a good electric knife sharpener. It requires a bit of skill to hold the blade at the correct angle during sharpening – especially towards the tip. It did a good job of sharpening some scissors too.This is a must for people who like a sharp knife but can’t do it very easily or fast. The belts are pretty expensive but you can buy them directly from Work Sharp instead of having to buy the three different grits when you only need one.Well made for plastic, but the light weight is very nice. This is so easy to put on and take off. Once attached, you can still use the wheel underneath to sharpen chisels and the top for minor touchups. We think it is well executed and so far. It took a little getting used to turning the knife upside down to get both sides, but you can always watch a video on this on Youtube and it is really easy to implement what you see in reality.
